Aliastone makes care devices for the elderly — designed specifically for older bodies, never adapted from mass-market products. Founded in Germany in 2021, it began with one engineer, one grandmother, and one stubborn problem: the pain in her feet. From that single device grew the entire range you see in our store today.

Jonas Reinhardt was raised by his grandmother. So when age brought her lasting pain in her feet and ankles — swelling, stiffness, and the slow loss of easy movement — it was not an abstract problem to him. It was happening to his own family.
The pain made standing and walking difficult, and left her increasingly dependent on others for the simple act of getting through a day.
Born in 1995 and a mechanical engineering graduate of the Technical University of Munich, Jonas did not regard the pain as an unavoidable part of old age. He saw it as a technical problem that had never been solved properly. So he surveyed the foot massage and therapy devices already on the market, and found the same three flaws everywhere.
Buttons and dials built for fingers stiffened by arthritis were nowhere to be found.
Mechanisms made for younger users were too aggressive for fragile aging joints and thin skin.
Designs targeted athletes and gyms, ignoring the realities of an older body.

Alongside his studies, Jonas taught himself the fields he needed: how joints and circulation change with age, and how gentle heat and compression ease pain and swelling in the feet. He built the first prototype himself — a combined heat-and-compression device for the feet — assembled from parts sourced from several suppliers.
It went through more than forty revisions. The early versions fell short and had to be rebuilt again and again. One requirement never changed:
an older person had to be able to use it alone, without pain and without help.
The turning point came at a dinner. His grandmother’s friends, of her own generation, noticed how much more easily she moved, asked about the device out of curiosity, and tried it themselves. Finding that it worked, they asked Jonas to make one for each of them.
From those requests, he realized how many other older people needed a device like this. That is why he founded Aliastone in Germany in 2021 — built on this very product, GoldZeit FootEase.

FootEase was only the beginning. Once Jonas saw what a device built truly for older bodies could do, the same questions followed him everywhere: what about aching hands? Stiff knees? Tense necks and shoulders? Poor circulation in the legs?
So Aliastone grew, one device at a time — each one engineered from the ground up for the elderly, never a mass-market product with a new label. Hands, joints, circulation, daily comfort and mobility: every product in our store today exists because an older person needed it, and nothing on the market was good enough.
That is what Aliastone has become: not a single gadget, but a full range of senior care devices — held to the standard Jonas set on day one.

Today Aliastoneis no longer one device — it’s a growing family of care products that help older people stay comfortable, mobile and independent in their own homes. Relief for aching joints, support for tired feet and legs, gentle help with daily tasks: each product answers a real need that older bodies face.
What ties them together isn’t a category — it’s a promise. Every device is still designed in Germany, made specifically for older users rather than adapted from mass-market products, tested with the people it’s built for, and backed by a 2-year warranty and a 30-day return guarantee.
Because for Aliastone, growing older should never mean giving up the things that make a day feel like your own.

Would it be good enough for the grandmother who raised him?
Every Aliastone product is still measured against the founder's original question. If it isn't good enough for the person who inspired the brand, it isn't good enough for you.
